Activités de recherche:

Ma thématique de recherche est axée sur la caractérisation des transferts de matières entre les différents compartiments de la géosphère (atmosphère, continents, océans) et notamment à l’interface continent/océan que ce soit dans la phase dissoute ou particulaire.

Dans ce cadre j’étudie plus particulièrement le comportement des éléments traces métalliques (ETM), dont certains peuvent être utilisés comme traceurs de l’origine de la matière (ex : Pb, terres rares…), dans les différents compartiments cités ci-dessus.

Mes recherches s’articulent autour de nombreux programmes supports nationaux et internationaux dont l’objet d’étude est essentiellement le Golfe du Lion et sa zone côtière :


- Caractérisation des niveaux de concentrations et des flux d’ETM dans les fleuves côtiers méditerranéens (Têt, Agly, Aude, Hérault, Orb, Rhône) et impact des évènements extrêmes (crues, tempêtes) sur les transferts et la redistribution des contaminants métalliques dans le système côtier. Synérgie des multicontaminations microbiologique-métallique

- Estimation des flux de contaminants transférés dans le domaine profond, influence des épisodes de cascading.

- Caractérisation des flux d'ETM d'origine atmosphérique au Cap Béar et plus largement à la Méditerranée

- Caractérisation des contaminants dans les systèmes lagunaires

- Impact des flux de contaminants sur la qualité des eaux côtières et influence sur le biote (qualité des juvéniles)
